Please note that e-geek is not
taking on any new work at this time.
e-geek is a web technology co-operative based in Newcastle, New South Wales (NSW), Australia. Being a co-operative, we use non-hierarchical methods of organising, as well as mutual decision making and equal distribution of funds. This organisational structure provides some unique benefits, for our members and for our clients. For our members it cultivates a strong team ethos and commitment to a common goal. And since they get paid for the work they do rather than a set rate, they're doubly motivated to perform quality work. These benefits naturally flow on to our clients in the form of quality productions and services at a great price.
e-geek is the brainchild of Ned Haughton and Oliver Coleman and was launched after several years of collaboration on numerous commercial and not-for-profit web sites. Before e-geek Oliver ran a computer and web services business (Computer Geeks To Go), he holds a degree in computer science and has over a decade of experience in all aspects of computer and Internet technology. Ned holds a Bachelor of Design (Architecture) and has many years of experience in graphic design and Internet technology.
e-geek supports enviro-geek.net, which is a not-for-profit organisation providing web services to not-for-profit social justice and environment focused organisations.
