taking on any new work at this time.

Some of the web sites we're most proud of are listed below. Those on the left use the Multi-purpose website package with some options (e-commerce, email news-letters, custom graphic design). Those on the right generally include all the features of the Multi-purpose website package as well as custom features and functions.

Multi-purpose website package

Custom features and functions

EarthWorks

"EarthWorks retreats and workshops offer a unique opportunity to re-establish connection with the living planet, our community and with ourselves." They needed a website that:

  • looks beautiful and reflects their organisation and values,
  • can be updated by the organisers, and
  • allows listing events automatically in an upcoming events list and calendar.

Hunter Organic Foods

Hunter Organic Foods needed a web site to fulfill three functions:

  • be an advertisment for their store,
  • provide information via the site and via an email newsletter about their store, and
  • be an on-line store.

The standard CMS web site package with the e-commerce and newsletter options provided for this and more, and a custom graphic design allows them to do it with style.

Climate Action Newcastle

"Climate Action Newcastle is a group of Hunter residents from all backgrounds working together to address the causes of runaway climate change." They needed a website that:

  • looks clean and professional to reflect their image and attract people from all walks of life,
  • allows listing events automatically in an upcoming events list and calendar,
  • allows visitors to leave comments on content, and
  • allows visitors to sign up to a mailing list to receive monthly newsletters.

Ella's Boutique

Ella's Boutique is a ladies fashion dress and accessories shop. They wanted to complement their physical store with an on-line store. The standard CMS package with the e-commerce and custom graphic design options was a perfect fit.

Climate Action Coogee

"A group of Coogee residents doing their part to prevent dangerous global climate change!" They needed a website that:

  • looks exciting and inspiring,
  • can be continually updated with new information, and
  • allows them to send news letters via email.

Rising Tide

Rising Tide needed a web site that:

  • could efficiently organise and present a lot of information of many kinds, including news, documents, upcoming events, images and galleries, and automated RSS feeds,
  • provides interactive features for visitors including discussion forums, comments on content items, and polls, and
  • enabled them to continually update and maintain all this information quicky with no on-going costs.

Climate Ride

The Climate Ride website was built as an integral part of the infrastructure for the Cycle 4 Climate Protection campaign. This campaign involved organising bicycle riders from around the country to converge at Parliament House. The website stored a database of cycling routes with various fields as well as a Google map to plot the route. Cycling groups could log-on to the website and easily create an entry for their route. Individuals could then search for cycling routes that would pass near their location by entering their postcode, and then register for one of the routes. The database also allowed cycle route creators to view the list of people who have registered for their route along with their contact details, and the campaign organisers to view all registrations.

Vital Health Studio

"Vital Health Studio is Newcastle's leading health and fitness studio offering a wide variety of health and fitness services and products." They needed a professional looking, dynamic website. They needed slideshows and video content that they can update themselves, as well as e-commerce, automated upcoming events functionality, email newsletters and more. And they wanted it fast! We delivered.

Global Young Greens

The Global Young Greens needed a web site upgrade. They needed a web site that:

  • is gorgeous and compelling,
  • handles internationalisation/translation,
  • has a database of Green organisations searchable on multiple criteria, and
  • allowed their editors to easily maintain and translate content organised into hierarchical categories.

The Pedal Power cycle shop requested a brochure style web site. They wanted a web that site uniquely identified their business, gave it an online presence, and reflected their professional image. They wanted a professional custom product at a reasonable price.

Anvil Hill Alliance

The Anvil Hill Alliance is all about raising community awareness for their campaign. They needed a web site that:

  • is visually compelling,
  • provides email forms/letter writing guides where readers can easily and quickly email multiple relevant politicians,
  • allows readers to quickly and easily send an email to their friends about the campaign,
  • can provide video content,
  • provides a wealth of information in an easy to navigate and organised way,
  • allows quick and easy updating of content and news.

enviro-geek.net is a networking site for community-, social justice-, and environment-minded technical geeks to network, organise, share knowledge, and forward all technical aspects of these movements in regards to technology, and especially the Internet and computers. Provides custom databases with linked cross-references to related information.

Beanstalk

Beanstalk are a community oriented organic food co-operative. They wanted a web site upgrade to allow a searchable trading board for members to be created. The trading board allows community members to list skills or items to trade, and search those listed by others. To help build community, members can create a short biography about themselves, so that one can learn more about who is behind a particular trading offer.
